Hey Guys,

Happy Friday indeed. I don’t know if this is on anyone else radar, but I just looked into Sturmovik again after having seen some early trailers awhile back. Vicis and I have been pretty stoked about this game since it could offer the most compelling WWII aircraft simulation available. Its designed by Oleg Maddox, one of the top flight simulation developers. As such, its going to work more like a flight-sim with guns than a game like Crimson Skies. Despite the learning curve I’m really excited to get my hands on it. The frustration will be worth it so as long as it holds itself to some standard. Not to say other WWII aircraft games aren’t up to par, but even the graphics of Sturmovik blow my mind. I think I’m going to head over to Xbox Live and download the demo, which was just released, and give you guys an update of how it plays. Heres a gameplay montage to tide you over.

Birds of Prey is developed by 1C Company, and is coming out for the PSP, DS, PS3, and Xbox 360 and is scheduled to be released 12/31/2009.

Comment by Vicis Viator: This looks amazing. I have always wanted a good World War II flight simulator game. The only thing that was ever close for me was Battlestation Midway. This totally blows that out of the water. Can’t wait to get my hands on this game.
