Playing games since as long as he can remember, The River Salmon grew up alongside Syndic Shadow, where video games were always a topic of conversation.  The discussions hinted at video games as an art form, but with a layered complexity.  Salmon and Syndic would critically discuss game design, game art, and everything else that went into making a good game.  One day sometime in 2009 Salmon decided to make a site about all the critical discussion going on, and Pixel Well was born.

The River Salmon plays everything really, though not very many sports titles.  Right now the games Salmon is playing include Team Fortress 2, BlazBlue, and believe it or not Diablo II.
